Hong Kong 6D5N - 22~27Nov (Day 5&6)

Day 5
We again skipped breakfast at the hotel to have it at Mido café, a old style café. No regrets after trying it. Very traditional style breakfast was served and the place was so antique, you just want to take photos at every angle.

Look at the yellow and blue windows in the background, giving a nostalgic feel
Look at this street which always appear in the Hong Kong dramas

In the afternoon, we made our way to Tsim sha chui for dim sum lunch.. walked around the buildings before lunch.

We almost stopped to eat here.. the place is so kawaii!
Dim sum is the best.. we were never tired of eating it almost everyday

Last stop of the day was Langham Place. I went in to buy my Jill Stuart makeup, as it is available in Singapore. Val also bought some and we end up becoming their member..lol
At night heavy rain again.. so we ended up watching movie instead of going to the night markets.

Last but not least, since Reb's birthday is just around the corner, we bought few pieces of cake to have a mini celebration.

Day 6 (Final)
It's the day we are flying home. Our flight is at 19.55pm so we have some time to spare.
We had breakfast in nearby building, which Reb has been longing to eat at.

We cannot resist to eat steam milk one last time

As we want to get souvenir (lao pao bing & cheese tarts), we made our way to Causeway Sogo as plan, in order to get fresher tarts.
We had lunch at the airport.. again it was salmon burger.. as it is really good.

It was a memorable and enjoyable trip to Hong Kong.. everyday we shopped and eat. It was wonderful! Thank you Reb.

Here's most of the stations we've been to..

Hong Kong 6D5N - 22~27Nov (Day 3&4)

Day 3
The night before, Reb's "uncle" saw her post that we were in Hong Kong, he immediately text her to date us for breakfast this morning. So we changed our plan and skip breakfast at the hotel to meet him at Mongkok.

Good morning from Langham place.. It's dim sum time!
Christmas in lego

Line shop was opened by the time we finished breakfast. We bid uncle farewell and went in for photos.

Lunch at Yau Ma Di, best porridge I have eaten so far in my life!! Super yummy liver porridge, the liver was so "Q" and tasty.

Next stop at Wang Ta Xian. They have built a shopping mall just beside the temple. Let's visit the mall before going to the temple.

Then its next to Apliu street flea market to buy toys..its a whole sale place near to Sham Shui po mrt.

Dinner back at Jordan - there are 2 popular stalls selling claypot rice, we chose Xin Ji. The claypot rice is good, but the fried oyster cakes tasted even better!!:P

We've been eating so much for the whole day..taking in all the delicious food. But there is still one more item we cannot miss out, eating the dessert at this shop.. which is somewhere not too far away from our hotel and the claypot rice stall.

Day 4
We are going to Da Yu shan to see the big Buddha by the cable car.
As we were out quite late.. the queue already formed at the cable car queue. So, we decided to take the crystal cable car.
Do you dare to look down?
One of the Must-Eats here.. the dou hua is smooth and really soft. Yum!
Can I jump to see the Buddha better?
Different angles of the BIG Buddha

Vegetarian lunch at the base
That's the famous cow on top the mountain

Next, we shopped at Citygates for branded goods (outlet) and we returned to Jordan for shopping at sports shops and Bossini.
We had dinner at Mac, cos they have something that Singapore doesn't have at that time, salmon burger.
