It was still the covid-19 period and no one was allowed to travel without valid reasons.
In Singapore, groups of 5 were allowed outdoor.
As National day is approaching..we decided that a group of 5 of us should have a hiking trip.
Our plan was to follow a route which Keng's friend had been to. The photos we saw from her post were quite scenic, hence, we decided to follow it. However, as it is not an actual route from a park, hence, we went hoping to be able to find the places based only on the photos.
The route started from beside Blk 276 Bangkit Road. We found the underpass under BKE to cross over to Chestnut Nature Park. The park has 2 trails, northern and southern. We arrived at the north side first.
Our starting point in the north park
Hello from the top of the Observation Tower.
We see a lot of this sign
Pump track for the mountain bikers
Heading for the South trail after taking a rest and toilet break.
Don't mistake toadstools for enoki mushrooms
A tiny bridge is still a bridge.
Several cannonball trees can be found in the south trail.
Found the Ming tombstone in the Southern park
We were looking for an entrance to 2 bridges
Headed back to the rest area and found the entrance from the carpark beside the bicycle wash area.
Heading to the 2 bridges, a mini fall and a tunnel.
Found the 1st bridge
Here's the 2nd bridge
Acting lonely?
Opps.. that's the only way up
Must eat something good after working so hard in the morning @NSRCC.
