We came in October and the truss bridge was closed to public.
This time, to our surprise, we saw people crossing the bridge as we were approaching.
We took the chance for photos before entering Clementi forest.
Most of the old track has been filled.
We entered this path after consulting a passerby who told us that it will lead us to the
old Jurong train track
Still looking very fresh in the beginning...
Slippery and slimy grounds awaiting us in the forest
After some turns, hops and climbs, we start to see the old train track.
It's not all straight and easy route.
Very soon the track was uncross-able with plantations and flooded.
And we have to walk above the train track.
Climbing to higher grounds
Many markings were made to guide us along the way
We are not even halfway through.
After many hurdles and some falls, we arrived back onto the train track.
We finally made it out, through here.
