14Mar Bukit brown cemetery

 Hiking within Bukit Brown and
in search for abandoned cars in Lau Sua (old mountain)

We met early at 730am at bus stop "Bef Kheam Hock Rd".
Its a few minutes walk from the bus stop to this signage.

Interesting gate tomb

Down this slope are tombs for paupers

Always prepared to take picture of a fallen tree

We took the wrong turn and went into the Toa Payoh cemetery
instead of finding the biggest tomb in the area

And we tried to look for abandoned cars as well, by entering here & there

The tomb that is so big it covers area of six four-room HDB flats belongs
to Mr Ong Sam Leong & family

The one with Sikh guards

We met a caretaker who told us the directions (short cut) to
Lao Sua by looking out for red flags

Found the red flags to Lao Sua

We got out of Lau sua without finding any hints of where the abandoned cars are.
Still not giving up, as the caretakers from Lau sau told us although they do not where the cars are, we might find it near PIE, which is just nearby.

We walked along Kheam Hock Rd and saw this praying tent.
The forest behind is still part of lau sua, and beside it on the right, there is a path to climb along PIE.

All the toys come out to play

If you go up the slope, you will find the temple. If you go down all the way, you will find the abandoned cars!!!
We found it because of my 小强精神!!!!!

Markings were found along the way

And we arrived! There are around 4 abandoned cars in the area:-

And the famous C7662

Headed towards University Road to get to Adam Road hawker

Beautiful houses along the way

To Adam Road for brunch, also Checkpoint 4
