29/8 Exploring Chinatown to Tiong Bahru

A morning of exploring, first the 东亚 Keong Saik road, then Chinatown Complex rooftop,
and while on the way to Pearl's Hill city park, we stumbled upon the interesting Pearl's Hill Terrace.
From the park in the city, we walked to the nearby heritage Tiong Bahru town.
And last but not least we end at curved pipelines of Grange road.

Near our meeting point at Outram mrt - exit H

So here's where the ex-Yishun Bottle Tree restaurant moved to.

Love those spiral stairs

We love the Pinnacle @ Duxton

And we love Shake Shack

The 东亚 kopitiam has moved opposite
- we decided to have breakfast here

Hahaha.. did not expect we are able to get up to this rooftop,
because we read somewhere that it was closed to public.
We tried to take as much photos as possible,
but mr sun was shining really strongly on us this Sunday morning

While trying to find a way to cut across to Pearl's Hill park, we stumbled upon this building.
We were attracted by the snoopys at first.

Harry Porter's here too

On the way to the park

Divert again

City view - so we know why the park is called park in a city

There's always a fowl in every park in Singapore

Cutting across to Tiong Bahru, we stopped by a supermarket

Arrived at the unique Tiong Bahru flats

And we took a bus to the curve pipelines

Our pipes are near the hawker

Lunch time

Still using the traditional type of oven?

All the way to Bugis to get this since the Everton shop is closed on Sundays

Normal bean or peanut is very nice

The rainbow one is $3.50 per piece
