Penang D1 - In George Town (Island)

After the guys drove in for the glamping, which I missed, they planned this next trip.
In order not to let Sam drive and tire himself, they decided to fly to Penang, hopefully able to catch the durian session.

At T2.
Waited for SK, D & K to arrive for same flight, while J & S will take the afternoon flight.

Have breakfast before boarding.

Still a little time left to visit the beautiful garden

9.30am, ~1hr flight to Penang

Snack provided on SQ short flight

Cute movie, but arrival soon

Grabbing to hotel

Requested the driver to let us have a quick pickup 😋

Ozo Hotel

Check-in at level 20

Grabbing to lunch place  recommended by the hotel concierge

New World Park food city

Sad that the Penang cha kway tiao stall was not open.

Next, took a walk to the couple's favourite koay koay

Famous laksa, but no chance to eat

Lunch still not digested, but eating dessert already 😂
Moh Teng Pheow Nyonya Koay

Very soft and yummy koay😋

Walked to Amernian mural street next. It was really hot weather though.

We took only a short walk and saw a drink stall, its better to hide inside and get out of the heat.

While the couple queue for more food, SK & me explored the Tan jetty

Took a wrong turn, but take photos first before turning back

Correct way

Back to hotel for a rest while waiting for J & S to arrive

Yummy food

Walked back to hotel nearby and managed to find a foot massage only available at 9pm.
We reserved and the guy recommended a place to eat durians.

Walked about 20mins and arrived to find only frozen durians, cos its the end of the day.
Its also coming to the end of the durian season, according to the seller.

We only opened 1 MSW since its frozen and expensive.

Ending the night with a relaxing foot massage
