After our trip to Japan, the group decided to have a get together again. And Noi suggested going to Kukup. So our plan was 28~29 May, Sat & Sun for a 2D1N trip to Kukup.
A mini van was booked for us, and the driver was a grumpy uncle..lol. On this early Sat morning, the mini van picked us up from 3 designated locations and brought us into JB for breakfast.
From JB, we arrived in Kukup within 2 hours. The traffic was smooth along the way. First stop upon arrival, we had lunch at a restaurant near to the house where we would stay. The house which we will stay is not kelong style but its built on stilts close to the extension from the coast. It is quite a big house with 4 bedrooms, a living room and backyard.

After some twisting and turning in and out of the tiny streets, we arrived. |
After dropping our baggage, we went for a tour around the village. Our house is back-facing the sea, and we can get a nice view from the back of the house. We can see kelongs around.
Back at the house for teabreak. The aunty at the house prepared freshly fried prawn patties for us. On top of that, we had green bean soup for dessert. Then we go for a second round of tour, boat ride around the area. The boat took us to a kelong and made a brief stop at the Kukup National park. We could not visit the National park because it was already closing when we arrived.
