It was Hari Raya Puasa morning, so a holiday from work and school (for the kids).
The plan was to wake up early and get to Southern Ridges early so that it will not be too sunny as the morning progresses.
We set off at 730am and arrived at Hort park at early 8.
The taxi driver does not really know the way to the park and dropped us at the bottom of the hill instead. Later on, we realised that it is the end of Hort park, which is near to the Alexandra Arch.
So, we made our way to the first bridge of the day, from the bottom of Hort park to Alexandra Arch, with a unique architecture.
Its a beautiful sight at Hort park |

Because we wanted to end at Harbourfront for lunch and train back home, we went the opposite direction as recommended:
Hort park->The Singing forest -> Forest Walk -> Telok Blangah Hill -> Henderson Waves -> Mount Faber ->
Details about the Southern ridges can be found on this web, in opposite sequence of our route:

Comprising 10 km of green, open spaces that connect Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, HortPark, Kent Ridge Park and Labrador Nature Reserve
