It was forecasted to rain in the late afternoon, but we went ahead with the schedule to Pulau Ubin.
We met as early as 7 am to have breakfast at Changi Village hawker centre.
After filling our tummies, we head to Changi Point Ferry Terminal, which is just beside the hawker centre. We need to board the bumboat to Pulau Ubin.
The plan for the day was to rent a bike each on Ubin island and explore around, as well as stop at Chek Java for a hike. And then final stop will be seafood lunch at restaurants near the jetty.
Let me introduce the members for the trip, it consists of my usual Sengkang cyclist group (Keng, Andy, Jean & me) and Jean brought along her friend, "lonely man" and I brought Yong.
The ferry terminal also serves trip to Pengarang, Malaysia. So it is actually a checkpoint here.. shiii.. be quiet.

Which way should we go?
Take the right to toilets, police station.
Take the left to bicycle rental, restaurants, anyway, most of the activities are located on the right.
After taking the left from the jetty.. these are the first sights.. wild dogs hanging around, an antique looking van

After visiting the temple, we plan to make our way back to the jetty area.. however it started to rain.
We found shelter and waited for the rain to stop.

After lunch, we returned our bikes and went to explore the right side of the island
We wanted to look for the chalets.. but realised they have already been closed down
We were quite tired after cycling for the whole morning.. its time to say goodbye
