After breakfast, I am heading to Uji, 宇治,
which is a small city situated between Kyoto and Nara.
On way to Kyoto station
Take Nara line to Obaku
From Obaku, change to Uji line and travel to Mimurodo.
Arrived. It's about 15 mins walk to Mimurotoji Temple.

Mimurotoji 三室戸寺 is known for its beautiful flower gardens.
In the summer season, we will see a field of hydrangea plants in the bloom.

Wanted to visit the temple at the top, however, I cannot stand climbing up the long flight of steps under the scorching hot sun.
Found my favourite bread from nearby supermarket.
Next, on the way to Byodoin.
Uji is famous for its green tea, how can I go without trying any?

Going back to Kyoto station to shop at Isetan.
Ended up buying my favourite brand
and eating yummy beef at Teramachi
Yodobashi opens till 10pm.
