[Kansai 1~9Jul'17] Day 7 Nara

Woke later then expected again.
Taking the Kintetsu Express direct from Kyoto to Nara.

Arrived. Take the East exit to destination.
There are many temples in the area, and many with entrance fees, so I chose the most unique (biggest Buddha) and  pretty places which are entrance fee free to visit.

The shopping street (near train station) which I will visit when on the way back.

Crowded, and lots of students, all heading in the same direction.

Within 10 mins of walking, while heading to Nara park, deers started to be seen.

The deers are smart, they ignore you if you do not give them food.

Vender selling deer biscuits. Buy some for 150 yen.

Finally managed to force a deer to take wefie with me.

On the way to Todaiji

Todaiji - 20 mins walk from the station.
東大寺 has the world's largest wooden building and one of Japan's largest Buddha.
Admission is 500 yen.

The building is really gigantic.

Students love coming here to pray.

Daibutsu in the Daibutsuden (Big Buddha Hall)

Long queue to see who can squeeze through that pillar.

Deers around the temple are calmer.

Bell tower of Todaiji

Heading to the sub-temples of Todaiji

Nigatsudo Hall

Making my way to Kasuga Taisha (春日大社)

There's an old wisteria tree wherever I go.

Cooling down..

Lunch place back at the shopping street.. having Omu yakisoba.. It's yummy!

At night - Dinner with my favourite Morito san and Lai Koon

Our sumptuous dinner

Lai Koon brought us for a walk along Kamo river.
