Day 8 Vivalda Ski resort (Pick strawberries & Snowyland)

  South Korea 28Dec23~7Jan24

Booked the tour for today from Indiway

We are going to Vivaldi Park Snowyland in Gangwon-do.
The meeting time was 730am, we should arrive 10mins before.

At 715am, we already got a hurry call, but we were already crossing the road to the meeting point.

Eating breakfast on bus as planned

Need to stop by the Ski wear rental shop for those skiing

Arriving, as we see the slopes

Need to remember the bus pick us back in the evening

Some left to ski, some left for snowyland, and we to pick strawberries first

We are going later in the afternoon

We were told to wait at the pickup container for someone to pick us for strawberry picking.
We do not want to spend a whole day in the cold, so we opt to have strawberry picking and then to Snowyland for few hours in the afternoon.

Ttalgi time 😉

Wow, first time in a strawberry farm

They only opened row 7 and we can pick as many strawberries as we want,
as long as we can fill the container.

The guide was very nice. He helped us take many photos, and encouraged us to fill up our container.

Done with our picking and heading back to Vivaldi

We can see the ski resort from the car park

The guide let us off here after passing us the tickets for Snowyland.
Our tickets were afternoon tickets, we can enter only from 1pm.

Going to basement for lunch at the foodcourt

At level 2.
Still early.. waiting for 1pm to enter Snowyland

Taking a cable car up, about 10mins

We wanna go to those slides later.

We arrived!

Although it's not real snow now.. it looks quite real

Start to have fun already..time to play with snow!!!!!

Our first ride. the queue was long but moved very fast

The view was so dreamy and pretty

After the fun & exciting, spiny slide down, we need to take a long walk up the slope.
So we decided we want to build a snowman before heading back up.

Here's our snowman :p
The snow was not fresh snow (which is soft), so it was icy & hard, making it difficult to press the ice together. So we could only build a small papa snowman.

Leaving foot prints...

The family ride

Made by others

Taking a break at the house cafe

We love the exciting ride and took another time

Then we went back to check on our snowman

As well as to build a mummy snowman

Need to get down to the waiting point by 5pm.

Still 1 degree

Goodbye Vivaldi

On the way to dinner

We decided to eat at Yoogane Chicken Galbi

Shopping again
