It's not the first visit for some of us.. but we wanted to walk around this place again. Bukit Brown.
Singapore's oldest Chinese cemetery, which is very rich in Singapore history.
Link to previous visit:
This time, our meeting point is Caldecott mrt.
Then we will walk pass the old MediaCorp land to get to Lornie Road.
Abandoned good class bungalow?
We wanted to visit the "Voices of Bukit Brown"
Voices of Bukit Brown - opened in August 2024, made up of unclaimed graves in the cemetery were exhumed for the highway’s construction
We asked the caretaker nearby and found the tomb of Ong Sam Leong & family,
the biggest tomb in Bukit Brown.
After visiting the biggest tomb, we wanted to visit the tomb with colourful sikh guards.
At 9 am, the sun was shining very brightly, we arrived at the tomb.
It was then that we saw a man who fainted near a grave over the night, he told us he met with a strange encounter and blacked-out....
Then we met Ah Beng Soh, who asked if we wanted to visit a secret garden.
We followed him and visited a real garden, and nothing strange happened😉
Interesting fugus beetle
The 2 uncles really put in a lot of artistic efforts in decorating their garden.
A tree has grown in the old well
Mini avatar tree while we were exiting the secret garden
Ah Beng Soh told us the way to the Avatar trees since we were near
(straight out, turn left and keep going straight)
Too hungry .. so we did not check out the abandoned cars
Realised the avocado drink is very good here.
