Good morning from Waterway villa!
Looking for sea of clouds before we head out for breakfast
Ready to go for breakfast
We were a little hungry and could not wait to drive to the morning market.
Had some light breakfast first
20 mins drive from our resort.
We arrived at Bentong morning market for breakfast and walk around the market
The wanton noodles is supposed to be good, we chose 枝记.
Then the guys bought extra food!!
The wanton noodles portion is actually quite big for 1 pax's portion.
Its good.. almost same like Pontian wanton noodles
Bentong is famous for its ginger
and Durians..
This light soya sauce from Bentong is also supposed to be good
Exploring the morning market
Old school cobbler
Along the way to Chamang waterfall
Chamang Waterfall
There's a suspension bridge
Googled and found a highly rated cafe in a Malay residential area nearby.
We stopped by for tea.
The crazy people almost want to order everything from the menu
Want to eat some more when they saw durians being sold along the roadside
The MSW here was cheap and good.
The honest seller even gave us another durian when he opened a bad one. 👍
Kampong Bukit Tinggi
We visited a local products shop.
The hot spring we wanted to visit was closed for renovation.
Construction of the Pan-Asia Railway, running from Kunming (China) to Singapore.
We then wanted to go to the strawberry farm...
when we googled and drove to the place, we could not see the farm but just flat land..
With so many closed venues, we had no choice but to continue our unfinished shopping from the day before... 😂
By 7 pm, we headed down in search for dinner.
This time, Sam took the correct exit..
And we were on our way to E-farm.
(We got lost the day before looking for this.)
The fresh water fish is supposed to be good here
The salted egg giant prawns were very good
We ate a very heavy fish.. costing 400 RM!!! 😬
But this was our best meal la .. sedap!!
