D2 Around West of Jeju

 23-31Oct2025 Jeju&Busan

Good morning from our Whistle Lark hotel

3rd car from the front is ours

The hotel was nice other then the thin futons

820am, checked out & on the way to Aewol cafe street for breakfast.
We are going to explore around the west of Jeju and end of the day, stay in the northwest.

Looks like a school in Jeju

Arriving ~ 40mins later

The small free parking area was full, so we paid 4,000 won for a nearby parking

Was considering whether to visit Bomnal or Haejigae.
Chose Bomnal for the outlook, but realised later they do not have much to eat for breakfast.
Also, they insisted we have to order a drink each before entering.
Although that was our intention, we thought they were rather rude in this handling, to stop us at the entrance and made sure we ordered to let us enter.

Beautiful cafe by the sea

Very windy & cold outside

Here comes our drinks in the cute holder

Always the first to ask for photo

After the meal, let's "jump"

The people can't resist 7 wanna try some tangerines.

Hallim Park next.
Already bought the entry tickets in advance from klook at S$12/pax.
We were here for the pink muhly grass and it's lava caves.

Cute souvenirs, but let's look at them later.

Entering the caves next

Looks like never-ending of caves.. we tried to take a short cut out by cutting through the grass field

Time to shop for souvenirs

Drove 5 mins to lunch place (1245pm) - BHC Chicken Jeju Hyeopjae branch

Other then the most spicy chicken pieces, the rest are not bad.

Can see our SK loves the food most - smiling happily

Looking for a place nearby to pack bread for next morning.
The convenient shops in the area did not stock up a lot of variety..ops!

Passed by another CU and we decided to stop to check anything to buy.
The tangerines in the nearby tangerine farm was not in season yet.

Next attraction in the afternoon - Osulloc Tea Museum & Innisfree Jeju House
We were first attracted by the green tea field beside the car park

How many bags did she buy?!? More to come..

Few mins walk over to next shop

We did not eat at Osulloc, but need to deposit Kent here while we shop at Innisfree, so bought snacks here.

Ok! @Sam, are you worried your pocket will break?

Almost 5pm as we drive, ~20mins to next destination

Sinchang Windmill Coastal road - where we will view the sunset & mils. The sun will set ~545pm

After eating our tangerines, I wanted to bring them to eat pizza (Pizzeria Dumbo) near our next stay,
however, upon check on Naver, found that the place was closed.
We then drive 5 mins to the nearest beach for seafood ramen (Pongdang Jeju seafood ramen),
but to our horror, it was also not opened!!
Upon checking with the people in the area, we were told the people had left the area due to off-season.

We drove 15 mins back to Hyeopjae Beach as we were sure there will be restaurants open.

Haechan - although most of us do not like the abalone porridge, the rest of the food (seafood) was actually one of the best among the food we had in the trip

After conquering the narrow, dark and foggy, winding roads, which took about 50mins
Arriving at our Brown Cabin at 830pm (their counter close by 9pm)

23-31Oct2025 Jeju&Busan Good morning from Brown Cabin! Really love this house, and pity that we did not spend much time here. By 530am...
