Day 6
It was morning time in Shirakawago and it was very peaceful without the tourist crowd.Andy went out early in the morning and took some beautiful photos. Let's check them out.
We woke and soon it was time for breakfast. The breakfast is as delicious as the dinner the night before.
Another super yummy kaiseiki ryori |
Soon, it was time to check-out and leave the place. It's a pity to go so soon, and we wished we could stay another day. The crowd starts to come in along with the early morning bus at 9plus. Shops are starting to open too.
As we have already booked the 1050am bus back to Kanazawa, we need to hurry.
Behind us is the forest |

Shirakawago is a must visit. The group really enjoyed the beautiful place. At least one night stay in the place is a must in order to enjoy the peace and authentic village.
From Kanazawa, we need take train to Kyoto. Went back to APA hotel to collect our luggage and it was time to move. First, at Kanazawa station, let's pack our bento lunch to be eaten on the train.Kyoto
It took about 2 hours from Kanazawa to Kyoto, so we had lunch and rested in the train.
Soon, we arrived at Kyoto. From Kyoto station, we walked for about 10 mins or more with luggage to our hostel. We'll be staying at K's house for the next 3 days.
After checking-in, its free and easy for all, as Phyllis and me are going to meet our ex-boss and friends for dinner. The rest decided to take a walk around Yodobashi before dinner.
Arrival @ K's house. It's a backpacker's hostel situated in Shichi-jo (means 7th street) |

Later in the night, I met the group to have supper. Guess the guys were too busy shopping to eat dinner. We decided to go to Ichiran for supper. And we walked from Shichijo to Shijo.
