[Jpn 2811~712'19] Day5: Kamakura; Odaiba

Took JR Shonan-shinjuku train from Ikebukuro direct to Kamakura

Bought "Kamakura Free Environment Bill" from

Enoden Kamakura Information Center beside the train station

570 yen/day for bus and train

Taking bus 36 to Hokokuji Temple 報国寺

Arrived!

Walk 3 mins to the bamboo temple

That's the tea house, but we did not stop to have tea.

The caves are closed because  areas had been destroyed by recent typhoon

On way to Komachi Dori

As the rain was getting heavier, we decided to have a break at a cafe

- Banyan tree cafe

Turns out the pancakes are one of the best we've had so far

Back to the rainy streets again

Eating again.. hoping in and out of shops to keep out of the rain

travelling again by train

Kotokuin - Daibutsu (鎌倉大仏)
