20210925 Dragons & Dinos, lantern nite

 More city visits - Toa Payoh and Whampoa this time.
Toa Payoh was my childhood area, so I'm bring SK to reminisce my childhood play area.
We were visiting Whampoa for the lanterns we missed in the last visit.

Toa Payoh gardens is listed as one of heritage sites, being built since the 1970s.



























Chung Hwa free clinic was also listed.

Another heritage site.

Lian Shan Shuang Lin Monastery was closing so we did not visit





And then here comes the dragon








Dinner at Whampoa market, just across the road











Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall - lanterns lightup
Only the garden was open until 9pm during this period













Nearby Burmese temple is beautiful too
