9~21May2024 13D13N Hokkaido adventure
Had breakfast before heading to Makomanai
Wanted to order croissants but they ran out
Took local Namboku line to Makomanai, then transfer to bus 106
The bus that we took also goes to Takino Suzuran Hillside Park,
but we won't be visiting the park as we had seen too many flowers.
We arrived about 23 mins later.
Makomanai Takino Cemetery 真駒内滝野霊園,
we'll visit only the outer part of the area, so won't be seeing any tombs
Many moai waiting for us near the entrance.
There's so many more as compared to Sun Messe Miyazaki:
Stone Henge - entry to the mausoleum is not possible, we'll only take photos at the stone.
Heading to the Hill of Buddha next.
It would have been very beautiful once the lavender bloomed.
Haha.. the doors were actually unmanned.
We paid anyway, it's 300 yen per pax to enter
Kawaii..
We wanna leave our wishes in the jar of lights too - 500 yen
Lunching at restaurant Moai
Taking bus from opposite bus stop and then train back to town
Kitakaro Sapporo Honkan cafe 北菓楼 札幌本館
Odori Park 5~7 Chome next for the Sapporo Lilac festival - very crowded!

We had time to sit down on our picnic mat.

Sapporo TV Tower - it was under renovation when we visited (different color at the tip)
Seems like they allow us to take the stairs up (if interested)
Didn't expect they can make the TV tower so kawaii!!

Passing by the Sapporo Clock Tower 札幌市時計台
Had 2 hours to shop at Tokyu Department store before dinner
Sapporo Kani Honke 札幌かに本家
We've made a 730 pm reservation from klook.
Ordered 2x Crab course Jyuraku (Sashimi crab) and 2x Kanitsuki Tsuki no Mai (Hotpot crab).
Both sets cost around the same price at ~S$80.
Here's the sashimi set, which SK & I ordered
And the hotpot set for Jean & Lynn
They served us crab porridge in the hotpot after the meal 😋
😋walking back to hotel with our heavy stomachs (4 mins walk)
