So lucky that the hotel provided free transport to Toya JR station.
Just reserve the time at the hotel upon arrival

Taking the Hokuto3 Limited Express bound for Sapporo again.
It's gonna take 40 mins and only 3 stops to Noboribetsu

Arrived @1016 am

We will not be visiting the Noboribetsu Bear Park

There are many demons around Noberibetsu. This one's in front of Noboribetsu train station.

Upon alighting, we headed straight for Marine Park Nixe,
which opens at 9 am.
Gotto hurry a little as there are many shows scheduled in the morning for us to catch.

The entrance fees cost 3,000 yen per pax.
Bought value tickets from klook @ S$29, it included 1,000 yen voucher which we could spend here.

Passing by the seal, we will be back later for their feeding time.

First up was Sealion time at 1030 am.
Each program will be about 10~15 mins,
we will complete the programs in the morning and then head for lunch at Nixe.

Having a break with our Wakaisaimo snacks

Exploring again.
First, we visited Sengen park, which is just in front of the hotel.
The geyser will erupt every 3 hours, so it's not so easy to view it.

Yuzawa shrine 湯澤神社 is just nearby

Heading to Jigokudani next

We wanna head to view the Tessen pond, so gotto head back down

Tessen pond 鉄泉池

Heading next to the natural river footbath.
Need to do some stairs climbing and hiking to get to the river.

Arriving at Oyunuma Lookout

River Oyunuma natural footbath 大湯沼川天然足湯

The temperature of the water was not very hot, maybe around 30 degrees.
Very nice and we enjoyed very much!

Questions gathered

We tried to look for the blue "avatars" but to no avail.
It then started to drizzle and turned into heavy rain after that.

Head back to Gokuraku Street. It's a short shopping street.

Our dinner place - Onsen Ichiba

We continued to shop while it rained, since the shops close late at 9 pm.
