At 7 am, Ohayo Gozaimasu!
Exploring our hotel while waiting for rest of the gals.
We were checking out and moving again, to Furano next for a day.
As we were early, we had our breakfast while waiting for the train to arrive.
Bought my favourite bread from the supa in Aeon mall the night before.
We would be taking the 739 am local Furano line to Naka-Furano.
As it is a local train, the train would be slower as it stops at every stop. Just a note that seats cannot be reserved. It would take 1 hr & 14 mins (12 stops) to Naka-Furano.

Passing by Biei 美瑛 and Bibaushi 美馬牛
Arrived.
We hired another taxi to bring us around Furano for 4 hours (32,808 yen) from:
As we arrived, the driver was already waiting for us with a name plate at 9 am. According to the taxi company, Nakafurano is a very small station and we could easily see our driver as we arrived.
He helped us with the photo-taking, and little did we know that
it was also the only time he stepped out of his taxi to help us. 😓
A little squeezy in the taxi as the covid preventive glass were still intact.
Mr. Miyazawa can speak English well as he had been in Singapore to work for a few years.
We arrive first at Nakafurano shrine and were again attracted by the field of wild shibazakuras.
Miyazawa san just stayed in his taxi.
Even shibazakuras got attached to me.. 😂
Passing by Nakafurano flower park to go to the washroom.
There's no lavender yet as the people were still planting the seeds.
Farm Tomita ファーム富田 next
Although its not yet summer season and the most beautiful flowers were not here yet, we still decided to come, because as the entrance is free, there will still be some flowers. Moreover, we can see the fields and eat lavender ice cream.
Those purple flowers are not lavender, the common name is Grape hyacinth, which blooms during mid to late spring.
Have some ice cream before moving on.
Ooo.. we found lavender ramune
Same as the many other fields.. nothing has been planted
And we can view the beautiful alps from here too.
At least there are some lavender in the glasshouse.
The highlight of the day is again shibazakuras

No more eating ice cream, just getting some souvenirs.

We will first check out the factory, then head to the pizza place for lunch.

We did not go to the ice milk factory, since we had ice cream earlier.
We were just walking around since it was still early and it was only 5 mins drive from here to our hotel.
The farm girl, already dressed to drive the tractor.
Arrived Shin Furano Prince Hotel around 1 pm. And we were allowed to check-in early.
This is Teru-teru bōzu, a weather ghost used by the traditional Japanese folk, purpose is to control the weather.
Heading out again after an hour's rest. Intend to just explore around the hotel's Picnic Garden before heading to Ningle Terrace.
Not going to the Wind Garden 風のガーデン because the entrance fees were quite expensive (800 yen) and seems review of the place was so so.
We were searching for the hot air balloon, so looking for enclosures..
And then searched online and realised the balloon will only run during weekends.
😂So we guessed this is the location of the balloon, since there was something covered in the center of the grass field.
Hence, we decided to find a place to have tea.
We chose Mori no Tokei 珈琲 森の時計
We did not order a lot since we were not hungry.

Shops were supposed to be opened from 10 am to 8.45 pm, but
seems like not all shops are open on a Tuesday.
They even sell Teruteru earrings!
By 4 pm, we had finished exploring the shops and headed back to the hotel for a rest.
Ops.. more shopping at the hotel minimart.
We had made a dinner reservation at the hotel for the 5.30 pm slot.
The Japanese.Western.Chinese buffet is priced at 6,400 yen per pax.
Time for dinner
The spread was quite wide, and we had several rounds of food and drinks.
Heading out again to view Ningle Terrace at night.

Most of the shops were already closed by 7.30 pm, so after the taking photos, we headed back for hot spring.
At another extension of the building, we need to go down to the basement and come out by another building.
Finally, we can enjoy a hot spring
Walking pass the mini store and we bought.
Enjoying our loots at night.. Shiroi Koibito beer is sweet and tastes good.
