23-31Oct2025 Jeju&Busan
It all started after my last South Korea trip in 2024.
I had been thinking what a pity I did not visit Jeju at that time.
So I started planning and was asking monthly hikers if they would like to go too.
I got a very positive answer and in February 2025, we started to book air tickets & etc.
So lucky we had a driver who is happy to drive us in Jeju!! 📣
Also added on Busan to our visit list as the people had not visited.
We will spend 6D5N in Jeju, and 3D4N in Busan (include a day trip to Gyeongju), a total of 9D9N.
On the 10th day morning, we will take a flight back home.
D0, Wed, 22 Oct night - flight only
Thank you dear Jean & Sam for sending
Checking gates
Had dinner at home, only accompanied SK here for her meal.
Our night flight
Our flight supper
D1, Thu, 23 Oct - Arrival in Busan, travel to Jeju, travel around northern Jeju
Busan! Here we arrived!
Have breakfast then continue with domestic flight to our next destination
4mins walk to domestic airport
1020am flight
It's 1 hour to Jeju
Arrival!!
First task was to collect our car at 1230pm.
Walking 9 mins to the Car rental directly, instead of walking 7 mins to the shuttle, wait, then take shuttle to the car.
Tamna Rental
Hyundai the All New Santa Fe 2024 - the car that will accompany us on our 6D5N round island tour.
The back of the 7-seater has been folded flat, & we were able to pack 4 medium & 1 large luggage in.
We checked our car (no scratches) as well as took note of the gas level (4 bars) to fill back when returning the car.
Short drive to have lunch at Mukdol
Very nice noodles & food.. everyone gave good comments!
Just visiting one attraction before checking into hotel.
Sunny & hot on this autumn afternoon, although it was around 23°C
The beach where you can view the "lighthorses"
Seems a nice place for tea
Interesting food but tasted so so
Headed directly to the "lighthorses"
Beautiful blue sky
Goodbye horses - I really love them
Topped up gas to full tank. We think it would be all we needed for the 6 days in Jeju.
Price of gas in Jeju, although expensive, is still not as expensive as our country.
Checking-in to our hotel next, and all we do was to explore around the hotel area.
Our Deluxe Ondol room - looks good but the futons were too thin for us.
Luckily it was only a night stay.
(This was a last minute direct web booking after learning that the shopping in this area is better.)
View from the hotel
The gals wanna shop, so we were out by 530pm..
The nearby Chilseonglo shopping street
The excited faces at the shopping street
Found the shop recommended by Mag to buy local hiking wear
We gonna meet Kent at 730pm for dinner, but already had hunger pangs
Interesting shop
Visited souvenir shop beside black pork street
Kiyo!
Dombedon has one of the better ratings around the area
To make up enough portions for 5 pax, we ordered a 3P Pork belly set & added on 2P of black pork.
The set includes steamed egg & soybean paste soup, & we had free flow of panchan & lettuce.
We also ordered makgeolli (which the guy dislike 😖)
The black pork was very fatty & super oily.
The supermarket (behind the hotel) closes at 10pm, so we had time to check it out.
