Had breakfast at 730am
Leverpostei is a Norwegian liver pâté made from pork liver, fat, & other ingredients. It's a common spread in Norway, similar to smoked salmon & brown cheese. 😋
Going for a walk alone as there was time till check-out at 930am.
Take our vits and then move along
We saw a polar stratospheric cloud amongst the fjords.
More of polar cloud
Bus stop
Cloud, cloud
2.5 hrs later at 1210pm, we arrived in Nordkjosbotn town.
We were given an hour only for lunch in the area.
As we alighted at Vollan Gjestestue hotel, we entered for our meal and wc.
We initially wanted to order hot food but also wanted to go out for a walk..
So we just order cakes to eat so that we can fill our tummies and quickly head out.
Time to have some fun
120pm - time to leave the cosy little town
It was an hour to the Tromso Arctic cathedral.
When we alight from the bus, it snowed heavily and was very windy, but stopped after a while.
Arrived at Fjellheisen Cable car station 10 mins later.
Taking the cable car up Storsteinen mountain.
Another hour later, we arrived at Scandic Grand Tromso hotel.
Heading out for dinner and walk.
The northernmost Protestant cathedral - Lutheran cathedral
Ordered by picture and sense.
One of most expensive Mac meal?
We finished our dinner, but it was still snowing heavily.
So, we decided to take a walk to the harbour and not join the aurora search later on.
The pigeons are fatter here to protect them from the cold.
Also Northernmost?
Opps.. another northernmost 7-11?
Paid public toilets
We heard that just cutting hair costs about ~S$80 here
Ok.. still very, very cloudy
