3-15 Jan 2025 Scandinavia adventure with friends
Wanna have a quick look at the seaside after breakfast.
All of us in the group signed up for the tour to Tallinn, Capital of Estonia, so we would be heading out soon after.
Look who's here too
9am back at the lobby to board our bus.
We passed by some dome.
Arrival at the port.
Gotten our tickets. Next, we head up to board the ship.
Our cruise time 1030am - 1230pm.
We could have lunch onboard (if hungry), otherwise we can eat in Tallinn after the tour.
Departing soon after we get to the deck.
Duty-free shopping is available at levels 7 & 8.
We decided to just look for what we want and only buy on the return trip.
Cute Moomin is everywhere
We could finally wear our sunglasses, since we finally see the sun!
Snacking since we weren't so hungry.
We first arrived at the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, a beautiful Russian Orthodox church.
We also get to visit the church, entrance is free.
Walking along street of Toom-Kooli next
Kohtuotsa viewing platform
Thank you, Joseph for guarding our Phyllis.
We have walked one round around the place.
That's the end of our 2-hour walking tour.
We were let off near the Tallinn Christmas market area.
We wanna go for lunch first.
The pork knuckle is supposed to be good here, but they only start selling it from 5pm.
The pastries are also good, so we will try that.
330pm.. we had until 615pm to explore around.
The Tallinn Town Hall
Back to the Tallinn Christmas market area
Joseph did tell us that the steak here is good.
Viru Gate with 2 watch towers, marks the entrance to the old town, beyond that the flower market.
The observatory park beside the Viru gate.
Heading back into old town to look for something.
We found the "Nunna Tower to Sauna and Kuldjala Towers", the cover photo of the map we took onboard.
Just walking around since we have time.
I wanted a hot drink as I was getting sick and felt cold.
Very nice place
The toilet is cute
Our return cruise 1930 - 2130 with buffet dinner.
We headed straight for the restaurant
Time to shop.
We love Tallinn! 😍
