Hey, that's our meals on board our Delta flight.
Arrived in Tokyo, 22 October 2014, 1.45 pm JST, Narita Airport T1.
The first thing we needed to do was buy train passes. It will be more convenient for our travel in Tokyo since changing of trains in between rides is very common. We found the counter to buy the 3-Day Subway Metro Pass (for use only on Metro lines in Tokyo and not JR lines) at the South wing of Arrival lobby, level 1. As we could not use the 3-Day Subway pass on trips to Hakone and Disneyland, we also need to get Suica Card (which can be used within Tokyo region).
Suica card could be purchased at the Basement level quite close to the train boarding area.
We boarded the Keisei Narita Skyaccess train according to plan. Only this train at 244 pm will take us directly to Asakusa, where our hostel was located.
We arrived at Khaosan Tokyo Original Guest house.
With only an evening to spare, the plan was to take a walk at the nearby Tokyo Skytree. And research already done, we'll only shop at levels 1, 2 and 4 of Solamachi, namely Skytree shop at level 1, supermarket and snacks at level 2 and Hello Kitty shop at level 4, as well as collect the free wifi card at Tobu at level 4.
First Destination: Tokyo Sky Tree

Nice Blue color of skytree.

Look at the colourful fruits at Level 2 supermarket.

We totally lost track of time while shopping, and by the time we realised, the shops are already closing (by 9 pm). The dinner place which we intend to go to (Nana's Green Tea) at level 4 also closed along with the shops.
But, luckily the restaurants at levels 6 & 7 will only close at 11 pm.
We found this noodle shop at level 6 and went in. To our surprise, it's a Tsukemen (Dipping noodles) shop. I remembered Esaki san recommended us to visit one in Tokyo if we have a chance. :) It took us a while to figure out how to buy the noodles from the vending machine (since it was our first try) and get our change. But with some help from the waitress, and her limited English, we managed to purchase a small size tsukemen each. Nice!
Look at us, with aprons provided by the shop. Itadakimasu!
