I read about Mount Kuruhi, that we'll be able to see beautiful clouds too. So I thought it will be a backup plan in case we could not catch it in Ritsuunkyo. And I also happened to find a link to book a car up Mount Kuruhi, so we booked it since there is no payment required upfront. The service was provided by Sozoro, a visitor center in the town. We wanted to cancel the trip the day before, but was told we need to pay 50% cancellation fee. Hence, we decided to go ahead with the trip.
Its 5am in the morning again. Meet in front of Kinosakionsen station,
and a taxi will bring us to Mount Kuruhi.
It was quite dark when going up the mountain. We didn't regret the trip up at all.
The clouds were like fluffy cotton candy and the sunrise was beautiful.

That's our driver.

On way down to go back to ryokan for breakfast.

The guys went out for another round, while me and Yong stayed in the room to pack.

Taking the 1039am direct train to Kyoto, we were all packed by 10am. We need to pack food for lunch as we will only reach Kyoto at 107pm.

That's our lunch.

That's the train station. Goodbye Kinosaki Onsen, we sure will miss the place.

First site of Kyoto when out of the station.

Booking Airbnb is now a little more troublesome in Japan. Because we have to let them see our passports, we walked all the way to the guy's office and then to the Airbnb.

Dinner in Kyoto. Found out that there is a Kushiya Monogatari in Aeon Mall.

And shopping starts in day 1 in Kyoto!!
