There were several breakfast places in Kyoto station, however, many with long queues even in early in the morning. We finally settled for Inoda's coffee and found a seat too.
Arrived @ Kurama station. We were supposed to hike from Kurama 鞍馬 to Kibune 貴船. However, due to a typhoon in September 2018, the connecting route had been destroyed and we were not able to hike to Kibune. However, Kurama remains very beautiful during autumn.
As the weather is quite hot, we decided to eat ice cream to cool off. Kurama-dera temple is about 5 mins walk from the station.
The route up the mountain has also been destroyed, hence we need to take a cable car up.
Aftermath of the typhoon, we heard that it will take months to recover.
The wisteria should be nice here.
