Good morning from hotel window
We arrived late at night the day before and could not check the view from hotel
Here it is, a construction site.. 🤣
Breakfast included
At the lobby
On the way after breakfast
Cold & misty morning
Sunflowers make it looks less gloomy 🌞
Really love these European style buildings
Arriving at the Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal after about 15 mins walk
Entrance fee - CAD14 per ticket
It's beautiful inside the church
No photos allowed in the inner church
There was a fire in 2019 and seems like the tower is still under reconstruction
Walking around Old Montreal streets
Arriving at the Chinatown area. Decided to have lunch in the area.
Bought bread as well
On the way to our next activity in the afternoon - the electric bike ride
Rented 4 E-scooters from Dyad for our 2pm guided tour
It was drizzling and hence the route was changed to circle around the area only
We started our ride with gear 1 at 0-20km/hr, after the practice,
we are able to increase our gear to 2 at up to 32km/hr.
Stopped over at Jean Talon market
Cute colourful broccoli
Interesting colourful carrots
Berries were in season
Continuing on our journey
Stopping for teabreak, David bought for us bagel at the St Viateur Bagel shop
And we had coffee with bagel at a coffee shop
Passed by Notre Dame again as part of the tour
Finally, our guide - David in the background, who brought us to the manmade island with a ferris wheel
That's the end of the E-scooter guided tour.
It was fun riding around, but our hands were really freezing during the ride.
On the way back to hotel, we dropped by a mall to have dinner
At the food court
Back to our hotel
