Day 8🍁Nova Scotia - Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove; PEI

 18Sep~2Oct'22 14D13N Land of Maple leaf🍁

The countryside of Nova Scotia, this is my favourite part of Canada so far 🥰
We woke up with the sun shining brightly and welcoming us.
Glad that the storm is over.

Simple breakfast provided at Coastal Inn

On the move again. More sights of the beautiful countryside coming up 😍

Arriving at Lunenburg

We stopped along Tannery Road
Very picturesque scene where we can view the colorful houses from opposite

Love those colorful houses

Love the dandelion

Heading to the colorful houses next

Can't decide where to have lunch

A hour's drive to our next destination

Eat anything along the way - the quarter pounder burger looks so thin

Arriving at Peggy's Cove for the lighthouse

Here we are

Bagpiper entertaining us

We can see the horizon

And seagulls flying around

The Alphorn

Can't bear to leave the white lighthouse.. 😅

Our route

Last but not least, heading to Prince Edward Island (PEI).
As of the day before, PEI was badly hit by the storm,
so we were entering the island to check it out.

Arriving while the sun was setting.
We could not enter the PEI National park as the road leading to it was blocked due to the storm

Instead we stopped by a tiny pier along a beach

Jason brought us here for the red sand as PEI is covered by red sand beaches.

Started to rain as we arrived at The Fredericton Inn around 1030pm
